About BHIC

BHIC is the world-leading science park which is home to the PHTA, providing innovation facilities at the heart of Birmingham’s health and life sciences district.

Phase 1 of the ten-year masterplan – No.1 BHIC – offers 133,000 sq ft of premium lab and office space for forward-thinking businesses in the health and life sciences sector.

A major link in the region’s life science ecosystem, BHIC catalyses unique opportunities for collaboration between clinical and academic experts, and offers national and international leadership in key areas of healthcare innovation including biopharma, precision medicine and genomics.

It is the only science park in the region dedicated to health and life sciences, sitting at the heart of a critical cluster of health excellence led by Birmingham Health Partners, creating opportunities for transformative collaborations between businesses, the University and NHS partners.

By road

BHIC is located just off the A38 Aston Webb Boulevard, three miles south west of the centre of Birmingham. Bicycle storage, electric vehicle charging points and onsite parking is available. By train

From Birmingham New Street station, connect to a local service to University station. Outside the station, turn left and follow Vincent Drive and New Fosse Way down to Birmingham Health Innovation Campus.
